Storm Food | Light Roast | Complex
Origin: Uganda
Elevation: 1900 - 2200 masl
Roast Profile: Light
Complex, slightly boozy fruit notes.
If you love natural wines or funky beers this will click. The collective's daily driver. A complex filter or unique espresso - not your average cup.
This naturally processed Ugandan stunner has all the hallmarks of a great natural coffee. An underlying tang that can only be described as 'funky'.
This is one of our lightest roasts, so if you're used to dark, heavy, bitter coffees this may not be for you. However, if you're after something different - this is a great, subtle introduction to naturally processed coffees.
Name Origin
Until now, this roast was temporarily named 'Kwezi' after the female-fronted collective it's produced by. It's new and current name came from rolling the weather and bowl glyphs. A fitting combination as the underlying natural funk could be compared to a delicious cup of summer storm rain.

Roast Notes
After 4 months of tinkering we finally settled on the current profile. We feel it highlights the natural flavours of the coffee, imparts minimal roast interference and offers a natural expression of what this bean should be.
